so it's been another 2 years since last i was here.  since then, i had another baby, lillian hope, born on april 16, 2009.  she was a whopping 11.5 lbs when she was born.  she's doing great and her brother, gabe, is 7 and starting 2nd grade this fall.  my husband of 10 years finally landed what i hope will be his dream job of teaching middle school gifted kids in hazelwood school district.  fingers crossed.  i'm working on making lots of hawaiian shirts for a convention coming up in naperville, il.  it's called duckon and we'll be vending there for the first time.  a little nervous, but i think it will be fun and successful.  i'm also working on a new mural for my daughter's room.  her room is done in cherry blossoms so i'm painting a mural of 2 geishas in a field of cherry blossom trees.  i'm liking it so far...

guess that's really most of what's going on in my life.  i miss painting.  i want to get back into oils but now with the little one, that seems less and less likely.  i even bought a bunch of new oil paints and brushes, a new easel and some canvases but they're all sitting in my basement.  perhaps some day...
